Good Wool Farm is all about fiber.
Good wool comes from good animals. Our wool is all naturally raised with love and hard work. We have two breeds of wool producing sheep and angora rabbits. Good Wool Farm yarns are hand dyed and spun right here in North Adams.
The Animals
We have very special animals here at Good Wool Farm. Not only are they sweet and friendly, they’re also soft and wooly. Their fur is used to make the luxury yarn we sell in our shop . It’s GOOD WOOL.
James [Taylor] and Peter [Seger] are a Berkshire cross-breed from West Stockbridge, Mass. Local boys.
Ben and Jerry are Blacknose Suisse Valais sheep. They’re from Vermont, obviously.
Arlo is our Maremma-Pyrenees guardian dog. Cookie is our Bea-Tzu mix breed house dog, very spoiled and sweet.
